2. Return Eligibility

2.1 Eligible Products

Products are eligible for return if they meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • The return request is made within 30 days of the delivery date
  • The product is in its original, unopened, and sealed packaging
  • The product packaging is undamaged and in resalable condition
  • You have proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt)

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are NOT eligible for return:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with
  • Products with broken seals or damaged packaging
  • Products returned after the 30-day return window
  • Products purchased from unauthorized retailers
  • Free promotional items or samples

3. Return Process

3.1 Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer service team at contact@squidraleuchik.world with your order number and reason for return
  2. Receive Authorization: Wait for our team to review your request and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  3. Package the Item: Securely package the product in its original packaging with all accompanying materials
  4. Ship the Return: Send the package to the address provided in your RMA email, clearly marking the RMA number on the outside
  5. Track Your Return: Keep your shipping receipt and tracking number for your records

3.2 Return Authorization

All returns must be authorized in advance. Returns sent without prior authorization or an RMA number may be refused or may experience processing delays. We typically respond to return requests within 2-3 business days.

3.3 Shipping Returns

Unless the return is due to our error (such as shipping the wrong item or a defective product), you are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for your protection.

4. Refunds

4.1 Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method.

4.2 Refund Amount

Your refund will include:

  • The full purchase price of the returned item(s)
  • Original shipping costs (only if the return is due to our error)

Please note that return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

4.3 Refund Timeline

After your refund is processed, it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account depending on your payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order.

6. Damaged or Defective Products

6.1 Reporting Damage

If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at contact@squidraleuchik.world within 48 hours of delivery. Include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged product and packaging
  • A description of the damage or defect

6.2 Resolution Options

For verified damaged or defective products, we will offer:

  • A full refund including shipping costs
  • A replacement product at no additional cost

We will cover return shipping costs for damaged or defective items.

7. Wrong Item Received

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for the return of the incorrect item at our expense and ship the correct item to you as soon as possible.

8. Lost or Stolen Packages

We are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery confirmation from the carrier. If your package shows as delivered but you have not received it:

  • Check with neighbors or other household members
  • Look in safe locations where the carrier may have left the package
  • Contact the shipping carrier to file a claim
  • Contact us for assistance in tracking your package

9. International Returns

For international orders, the same return policy applies. However, please note:

  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Any customs duties or taxes paid are non-refundable
  • Processing times may be longer due to international shipping
  • Please declare the package as a "return" to avoid additional customs charges

10. Consumer Rights

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable consumer protection laws. If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to remedies beyond those outlined in this policy.

For EU customers, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods (cooling-off period) under the Consumer Rights Directive. This is in addition to our 30-day return policy.

11. Return Address

Please do not send returns to this address without first obtaining an RMA number. The return address will be provided in your return authorization email.
